CTO·Intee AI·Austin·

Two decades in corporate IT, now protecting kids from AI-era threats.

Pradeep Kagitapu is a strategic technology executive with over two decades of experience driving corporate IT and digital transformation. He holds an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has held leadership roles at organizations including Pabst Brewing Company, Molina Healthcare, and the American Red Cross of Central and South Texas.

Pradeep is the CTO and Board Member at Intee AI, a startup he founded after stepping away from his corporate career. Fascinated by the potential of artificial intelligence, he began helping other founders develop AI-based products before launching his own ventures.

At Intee AI, Pradeep is working on two fronts: building a CPM tool empowered with AI, and tackling the growing challenge of keeping children safe online. His cybersecurity initiative addresses the gap in school safety tools by monitoring screens in real time — even within applications considered safe, like Google Docs and Google Slides — to detect cyberbullying and the sharing of private information.

Pradeep's interview highlighted a striking insight: the very tools schools trust most are being exploited for harm. His approach of AI-powered screen monitoring represents a new layer of protection that goes beyond traditional content filters, meeting kids where they actually are online.

I've been working in technology for over two decades. We're driving corporate IT to empower businesses.

Pradeep Kagitapu

And I took a pause in my corporate career and started Intee AI as a startup.

Pradeep Kagitapu

I was so fascinated with artificial intelligence technologies and what it brings to the world.

Pradeep Kagitapu

So I started helping founders to develop AI-based products.

Pradeep Kagitapu

And the recent one that now I'm working on is to develop a CPM tool that's empowered with AI. And I'm also working on helping kids be safe online with addressing the cybersecurity issue that arises from AI.

Pradeep Kagitapu

Having kids not touch digital devices is near impossible because with the advancement of what's going on, kids spend an increased amount of on-screen presence day by day.

Pradeep Kagitapu

Now, if you go to the schools, they have secure guards in place. But kids are smart to overcome them, like, for example, Google Slides or Google Docs, which is considered a real safe application. But if I tell you that those are being used to exploit and do cyberbullying, you'll be surprised.

Pradeep Kagitapu

So this is the use case that we are addressing, that even the tools that are considered safe, we monitor the screen, capture a screen grab. If we see that there is something, a bullying is going on, or if kids are sharing some private information online

Pradeep Kagitapu

Capture them, report to the parents, that way they can take appropriate action.
