Nine years building a media OS, now AI might replace the interface.

Keith Eddleman is a data and marketing technologist with over 20 years of experience in the advertising and digital media sectors. Based in Austin, he has been recognized as a Tech Titan by the Austin Business Journal and has a proven track record of driving triple-digit revenue growth through innovative digital media solutions.

Keith serves as CTO of Q1Media, an industry-leading digital advertising company founded in 2004 that serves agencies and brands at the local, regional, and national levels. The company specializes in large-scale media buys, programmatic advertising, and campaign optimization across mobile, video, display, and connected TV.

At Q1Media, Keith has built what he calls the company's digital media operating system — a comprehensive tech stack spanning lead generation, CRM, RFP management, insertion order management, campaign booking and optimization, billing infrastructure, and a client-facing analytics dashboard. He has been iterating on this platform for nine years.

Looking ahead, Keith sees AI as a transformative force that could fundamentally change how his team and clients interact with their technology. After nearly a decade of building out interfaces and dashboards, he sees a future where AI agents may replace traditional UIs entirely.

I am the CTO of Q1 Media.

Keith Eddleman

Q1 Media is a media services company that serves mostly agencies, but also brands and does media services. We manage large scale media buys and also the booking optimization and follow through.

Keith Eddleman

The kind of tech I'm building and maintaining at Q1, we have what I call our digital media operating system.

Keith Eddleman

Into in digital media operating system. So it's more back office. It's more supporting the sales team, our account executives as they go out and talk to agencies and brands.

Keith Eddleman

So we have end to end, we have lead gen, CRM.

Keith Eddleman

We have RFP management. We have insertion order management. Then it's handed off to our delivery team.

Keith Eddleman

We call them account operations where they get all the assets and all the information, book the ad campaign across all the exchanges.

Keith Eddleman

And then they monitor and optimize those campaigns. And then of course on the back end we have billing, billing infrastructure.

Keith Eddleman

And finally a client side dashboard where our clients can log in and look at all of their analytics and see how their campaigns are going and all that kind of stuff.

Keith Eddleman

That tech stack we've been iterating upon for the last nine years.

Keith Eddleman

And now with AI, we're starting to realize that we may not even need the interface anymore.
